Couples Fertility Counselling
IVF • INFERTILITY • DONOR
For the Moments That Are Difficult to Navigate Together
Fertility challenges can affect even the strongest relationships. You might be moving through IVF, grieving a loss, facing donor-related decisions, or feeling emotionally out of sync. This space is for couples navigating the emotional, relational, and psychological impact of fertility, together.

- Miscarriage, pregnancy loss, or fertility grief
- Medical trauma or emotional fatigue during treatment
- Relationship strain linked to fertility, intimacy, or decision-making
- Uncertainty around parenthood or reproductive timelines
- Differences in emotional responses, coping styles, or readiness
- Intimacy issues connected to stress, shame, or hormonal impact
- The possibility of life without children, and what that brings up
This is a space for the things that are hard to say out loud, and even harder to say to each other.

Our work is grounded in empathy, relational depth, and reproductive understanding. We hold space for both individuals, and the space between you. You won’t be asked to take sides or solve everything. You’ll simply be invited to bring what’s true.
We offer:
- A calm, professional space for emotional clarity and connection
- Trauma-informed support grounded in reproductive psychology
- A relational approach informed by attachment, emotion, and fertility theory
- A place where difficult conversations can happen with care
This space is about presence, understanding, and emotional safety, for both of you.

About Your Therapist
Fertility Counselling is a specialist private practice founded by Georga Gorrell, a Psychotherapist with advanced training in Fertility Counselling (BICA).
The practice brings together psychological depth and relational expertise, supporting couples through the emotional and interpersonal challenges of fertility treatment, IVF, and reproductive loss.
Our therapists understand the complexities that fertility experiences can place on a relationship, from communication and intimacy, to grief, decision-making, and identity. Each session offers space for both partners to be heard, to process individually and together, and to find steadiness in what can often feel like uncertainty.
Fertility Counselling provides online therapy across the UK, offering specialist support for couples navigating IVF, donor conception, fertility preservation, pregnancy loss, and childlessness.
All therapists are accredited and trained within fertility counselling frameworks, with professional membership to the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA) and the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
